Sales Development Representative

NewtonGreen Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Sales Development Representative. As a key member of the Sales team, the Sales Development Representative will identify, contact, and qualify customer prospects in a consultative, team-selling environment. Further, the Sales Development Representative will perform brand research to inform customer outreach and sales strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand Tom Sawyer Software product features, business models, benefits, functionality, positioning, and competition
  • Develop outbound lead generation strategies with the Vice President of Sales
  • Conduct outbound lead generation activities including cold e-mailing, cold calling, lead follow-up, and qualifying opportunities
  • Conduct telephone, e-mail, and social media prospecting to identify new sales opportunities
  • Import new prospects into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and manage prospecting status and forecasting process
  • Achieve monthly targets for generation of high-quality opportunities
  • Drive sales calls with pre-qualified leads and collect customer qualification information
  • Schedule meetings with pre-qualified leads and invite our solutions engineers and sales representatives when appropriate
  • Qualify new leads and convert them to opportunities in the CRM system
  • Create new sales opportunities in the CRM system and assign them to the appropriate sales representative and solutions engineer
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and complete data in the CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficiency with internet tools for research
  • Proficiency with social media tools, such as LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience with cold e-mail and cold calling techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, through e-mail and via telephone
  • Displays excellent integrity, credibility, confidence, and resilience
  • Goal oriented and demonstrates excellent follow-up
  • Highly motivated, tenacious, and a self starter
  • Positive attitude, ambitious, and a passion for building a valuable business
  • Ability to work across cultural, disciplinary, and geographical borders
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
